There are many accomodation options available in Kyoto; however, the links page has some we recommend.

As well as these, there are a small number of inexpensive boarding rooms and share houses available for long-term students. These are limited, so please ask about these directly. The longer a lead-time you provide, the better are your chances to find a place when you arrive in Japan.
